APHIS Rolls Out their 2008 CFC Campaign

The United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Plant and Health Inspection Service (APHIS) had their Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) kick off on Wednesday, November 5, at their Riverdale office.

APHIS's Campaign Coordinator Marilyn Holland welcomed the crowd of over 150 employees and Cindy Smith, an Administrator with the Service spoke personally about how several CFC charities had helped her in critical moments in her life.

Other testimonials were given from representatives of the Boy Scouts of America, the Arthritis Foundation and the National Transplant Assistance Fund.

Following the formal program, attendees were treated to a raffle for door prizes and light refreshments.
