Campaign Workers

CFCNCA campaign workers take on critical leadership roles within a powerful community of caring that raises millions of dollars to help people and communities in need. More than 35,000 campaign workers serve the campaign every year, training, fundraising, engaging leaders, event planning, recording donations and more.

If you are a new campaign worker this year or have been one in the past, thank you for dedicating your valuable time to serve the CFCNCA. Your work, raising funds for the more than 4,500 charities in the CFCNCA Catalog of Caring, results in hope and changed lives every day.

Meet Cathy Oliver, 2011 CFCNCA Loaned Executive

“I first decided to volunteer in the 2010 campaign because I thought it would really be an opportunity to develop both professionally and personally,” Cathy Oliver, of the US Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, says. “I direct national programs for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and I’ve seen how a program is implemented at the agency level. But I felt that working as a CFCNCA Loaded Executive, would give me an opportunity to see how a program is implemented government-wide.”

Oliver served as a campaign worker in two consecutive campaigns. The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) has given her the opportunity to meet new and interesting people from all over the government, as well as the chance to broaden her skill base. Ultimately, her reason for joining was to meet committed individuals who serve others across the Federal workforce. Read more about Cathy's story.
