Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area Show Some Love Day Number Two
Show Your Cause Day highlights the many causes supported by Federal employees through the campaign
WASHINGTON, Oct. 11, 2016 – The Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area (CFCNCA), the annual workplace giving opportunity for Federal employees, is celebrating the second Show Some Love Day, Show Your Cause, on October 11. This day highlights the many causes supported by Federal employees through the campaign. Whether one is passionate about veterans, education, medical research, animal welfare or any other worthy cause, the CFCNCA has a charity for each person to support. Federal employees are invited to participate in Show Your Cause Day, and represent the charitable causes that they care about most through accessories, attire and/or social media engagement.
“This promotional day is a perfect opportunity to show others the causes we care about most,” said Vince Micone, Chairperson of the Local Federal Coordinating Committee that oversees the campaign. “I encourage everyone to Show Some Love today by highlighting your cause and sharing your story with others.”
Whether you are a Federal employee or not you can get involved in Show Your Cause Day by:
- Wearing a cause-related t-shirt or ribbon.
- Getting creative and putting together a cause-themed outfit.
- Printing out your own Cause Board and writing your chosen cause on it.
- Taking a picture holding up your cause sign, like those in the Catalog of Caring.
- Visiting the Cause Photo Gallery on the CFCNCA Facebook page and uploading your cause photo.
- Sharing your cause photo on social media using #ShowSomeLoveCFC.
