CFCNCA Headquarters Closed September 23 - 24

Due to this week's Papal Visit in Washington, DC, the CFCNCA Offices will be closed on Wednesday, September 23 and Thursday, September 24. We will resume normal business hours on Friday, September 25.

Solicitation for the 2016 PCFO

The submission period is now open for the Principal Combined Fund Organization (PCFO) for the 2016 Campaign. If you are interested in submitting a proposal, the deadline is October 6, 2015 at 5:00pm.

The CFCNCA Leadership Training, the official kickoff event of the 2015 Campaign, was held on September 3 at the Ronald Reagan Building. Hundreds of campaign leaders and workers attended to network, learn what’s new for this year’s fundraising season, and to hear from prominent federal leadership.

The morning CFC 101 session was packed to the brim with federal employees new to the campaign and eager to learn the basics.  (Click here to view the PowerPoint presentation from CFC 101).

This year’s group of CFCNCA Loaned Executives (LEs) had a special chance during their training to make it possible. They visited three CFC-approved organizations and donated some of their time to helping out first-hand.

The 2015 Class of Loaned Executives arrived at CFCNCA Headquarters last week for five days of intensive training.  On Wednesday, August 12, they were treated to a visit from a very special guest.  The Honorable John Brennan, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and Honorary National Chairman of the 2015 CFC, spoke to the group about the significance of this campaign.

Campaign Contest Winners Announced

The 2014 CFCNCA Finale recognized the deserving awardees of this year's Campaign Contest.  These departments, agencies, reporting units, and individuals not only represent the amazing work that was done in the national capital region this year, but also can inspire other campaigns to implement these best practices next year!

Below is a complete list of this year's winners.  Awards were given in three categories: Small (goal of $99,000 or less), Medium (goal between $100,000 and $499,000) and Large (goal of $500,000 or more).
