The 2018 CFCNCA Finale and Award Program took place on March 5, 2019, at the Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture in Washington, D.C. Federal employees who served as leaders for the 2018 CFC gathered to celebrate the achievements of the campaign, and the final results were announced. Federal employees of the National Capital Area donated more than $34.2 million and pledged over 56,500 volunteer hours for participating local, national, and international charities.
During the program, Campaign Contest award recipients were recognized for their innovative and effective techniques to raise funds for those in need. The program also included remarks from the following:
- Stephanie Stebich, The Margaret and Terry Stent Director, Smithsonian American Art Museum
- Dr. Jody K. Olsen, Director of the Peace Corps, 2018 CFC National Honorary Chairperson
- Vince Micone, Chairperson of the Local Federal Coordinating Committee
- Terry Henry, Co-founder of paws4vets
