Humane Society of Pulaski County
The Humane Society of Pulaski County is Arkansas’s oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter. We have been serving Central Arkansas since 1946. The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, rehabilitate, provide veterinary care, spay/neuter, and find loving homes for Central Arkansas dogs and cats in need. HSPC is a private shelter. We receive no city, state, or local tax dollars and are not affiliated with a national organization.
At any given time, we have approximately 200 animals under our roof, and we find homes for about 1000 dogs and cats each year. We NEVER euthanize for space. Any animal adopted out of our shelter is current on shots and has been spayed/neutered and microchipped. We are open to the public 7 days a week and also participate in many community events, often with our HEART mobile adoption vehicle.
With your donations we can continue our life-saving mission and find homes for the dogs and cats in our care.
