Public Service Recognition Week

May 5 - 11, 2013

During Public Service Recognition Week, the staff of the Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area want to thank the federal employees who serve our nation so tirelessly.  Federal government workers not only work on our community’s behalf through their jobs; they also donated more than $61 million through the CFCNCA last year, making it possible for 4,500 nonprofit organizations in our region and around the world to help those in need.  

2013 Charity Applications

The 2013 Charity Application deadline has passed.

The CFCNCA Solicitation Period Is Extended Through 12/31/12

U.S. Office of Personnel Management Director John Berry has approved a nationwide extension of the 2012 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) solicitation period. As a result, the Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area will continue solicitations through December 31, 2012.  The CFC pledge option in Employee Express, as well as eGiving options on cfcnca.org, will remain available to Federal workers through December 31, 2012.

Donating to a charity is a very personal decision that can positively affect the lives of many people. In this short video clip, Ms. Carla Lucchino, Department of the Navy Assistant for Administration, shares a touching story about her grandfather and why it is so important for us to donate to the Combined Federal Campaign.   As she notes in the video,  it is important to make a contribution to help individuals who are less fortunate than we are.
